A family budget is essential for the financial well-being of any family. This is a great tool with the help of which a family can have control over its finances. Now develop a monthly budget and try to strictly follow it. Launch a savings plan in which you can regularly deposit money. Such a plan could be either a passbook account, or a certificate of deposit (CD) or an individual retirement account (IRA). Check your income and expenses each month to assess how the plan is working.
